The story of Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) is a well-known story in the Qur’an. Different parts are mentioned in different Surahs of the Qur’an to highlight different points, as well as to serve as a reminder. What’s interesting is that Surah Ar-Rahman, the 55th Surah, is one of the most popular and unique Surahs there is. However, the story or Prophet Adam’s name is not mentioned once directly. However, if you look deeper, you will see several references to it done in such a clever way.

We said, “Go down from it, all of you. Yet whenever guidance comes to you from Me, then whoever follows My guidance -they have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve. [Al-Baqarah 2:38]	The Most Compassionate. Taught the Qur’an [55:1-2]
Your Lord said to the angels, “I am creating a human being from clay. [Sad 38:71]	Created humanity. [55:3]
And He taught Adam the names, all of them; then he presented them to the angels, and said, “Tell Me the names of these, if you are sincere.” [Al-Baqarah 2:31]	˹and˺ taught them speech. [55:4]
nor will you ˹ever˺ suffer from thirst or ˹the sun’s˺ heat.” [Taha 20:119] in reference to Paradise	The sun and the moon ˹travel˺ with precision. [55:5]
When I have formed him, and breathed into him of My spirit, fall prostrate before him. [Sad 38:72] And We said, “O Adam! Live with your wife in Paradise and eat as freely as you please, but do not approach this tree, or else you will be wrongdoers.” [Al-Baqarah 2:35]	And the stars and trees prostrate. [55:6] In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinn. [55:56] In both will be fruit, palm trees, and pomegranates. [55:68]
Allah said, “Get out of Paradise! You are disgraced and rejected! I will certainly fill up Hell with you and your followers all together.” [Al-A’raf 7:18] in reference to Iblees and his followers, of jinn and mankind.	O assembly of jinn and humans! If you can penetrate beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, then do so. ˹But˺ you cannot do that without ˹Our˺ authority. [55:33]
